There is no Jannah without sacrifices and sacrifice begins at one’s own level. The extra time that you waste watching TV, listening to Music, chatting with friends, roaming around aimlessly etc can be put to learning Qur’an. It not only benefits you in the Akhirah but also in the duniya. A person whose tongue recites Qur’an has more chances of his dua getting accepted. It also keeps a person away from sins related to the tongue.
Arabic, along with other Semitic languages, uses a pattern of roots that help speakers indicate or anticipate the meaning of a word. Words related conceptually, like internet and website, are also related sonically. For example, the root K-T-B means "write, written"---thus, kitab (book), kutubu (books), kaatib (writer), maktab (office, library), kataba (he writes), etc.
I learnt Gulf and Saudi,Nejdi and Hijazi. I’ll put it this way: you are in a great place with those dialects. With Hijazi, you got so many Egyptian words, so you can undendrstand Egyptians. Also the peninsula dialects carry over the boarders into places like iraq and jordan. I watch Jordanian bedu dramas and without studying Jordanian and can communicate with citizens from Amman and Baghdad without any difficulty.
Also, with regards to dialects. If you want to learn Egyptian Arabic, maybe you can gather a decent variety of resources, but, I mean, Arabic resources suck in general without trying to find a variety of resources for a specific dialect. My husband speaks Arabic, but there are zero resources available in his dialect. I’ve just studied MSA and then listened and observed the differences and how to adapt.
Learn Quran Academy was established in 2006 with the aim of teaching the Holy Quran from Arabic alphabets to reading Quran with Tajweed in U.K and all over the word. Our key aim in mind is to prepare children who are unable to read Quran with Tafseer and Tajweed for adults also who can read but not aware of Tajweed rules. We are specialized in teaching Quran with Tajweed which is the true pronunciation of the Quran and the recommended way of reading Quran.
