Nils, you bring up a good point. I think the article was saying that speaking it as much and as early as possible is more beneficial and since MSA is more of a written language (in a sense), it is crucial to pick a dialect. I could be wrong, but that’s how I read it. I think I agree with the author on this. I’m still learning grammar, but I can speak quite a bit of Egyptian Arabic. God bless!
I would be really grateful if anyone can help me with this, I want to learn an Arabic dialect for professional and religious reasons like reading the Quran, I’ve gone through the Egyptian dialect but it seems weird to me to pronoun jameel as gameel which is the case for all jeem(j) words in egyptian arabic. Can you tell me which dialects pronunciation is closest to Quran. Kindly consider the request that i am talking about pronunciation. Which dialects are you offering to teach and how much do they cost?

I was a little skeptical about this setup since I felt learning tajweed would be difficult online, since if the tutor and the student are sitting face to face then finding out mistakes is lot easier and so is the correction process. But Alhamdulillah, your setup has impressed me thoroughly. In fact I have even got my daughter enrolled into this course. So its been pretty good in all respects...It has been very very rewarding for me personally, and I am sure it shall be rewarding for all other students as well. Please keep up the great work...!
